The product

Ecology Check is a project designed to help assess the ecology of a country. It offers various features to work easily with ecological data:

  • Users collect data on biodiversity, air and water quality, and land use.
  • The project analyses this data to identify patterns and trends.
  • The data is visualised through maps, charts and graphs.
  • Users generate reports summarising key findings and collaborate with others.
  • Alerts and notifications help identify ecological issues in time.
  • An integration gateway connects other data sources for seamless data sharing.

The platform brings together state agencies — the ecology committee, forestry, geology, hydrometeorology, agriculture, water management, health, emergencies and environmental laboratories — each with its own workspace.

What I built

  • Agency workspaces — a dashboard of agencies, each with its own results, statistics and data entry.
  • Maps — an interactive map of Uzbekistan and thematic maps (concentrations, water resources, flora and fauna, protected areas, air quality) with a heatmap of pollution sources that animates indicators over time.
  • Analytics & statistics — indicator tables with date and indicator filters and bar charts by year.
  • Data entry — monitoring objects and laboratory indicators by region for air, water and land, with CSV export.
  • Reference data — classifiers for groups, units, ownership forms, pollutant types, regions and parameters, plus settings and a knowledge base.
